TRAINING MATERIALS

The FOOD-AWARE project aims to empower European children
to grow into responsible and conscientious food consumers.

The projects’ training materials have been designed for teachers and they consist of 5 training modules:

  1. Introduction and context
  2. Local food production
  3. Food chain
  4. Resource efficiency including sustainability and circularity
  5. Responsible food consumption

These five training modules revolve around food and farming and in conjunction with the training methodology, have been developed with the aim of training teachers on how to engage their students with these subjects in particular.

Additionally to the training methodology, the training guide has been designed. It is an easy-to-use tool for both the project partners when devising the other learning tools and materials but also for users, so the teachers will be able to make use of the guide when using the materials for their students. Each module will contain an interactive student activity sheets to help teachers run their classes.
