TRAINING MATERIALS

The FOOD-AWARE project aims to empower European children
to grow into responsible and conscientious food consumers.
The projects’ training materials will be designed for teachers and they will consist of 5 training modules:
  1. Introduction and context
  2. Local food production
  3. Food waste
  4. Food chain
  5. Resource efficiency including sustainability and circularity
  6. Responsible food consumption

These five training modules will revolve around food and farming and in conjunction with the training methodology, will be developed with the aim of training teachers how to engage their students with these subjects in particular.

Additionally to the training methodology the training guide will be designed. It will be an easy-to-use tool for both the project partners when devising the other learning tools and materials but also for users, so teachers will be able to make use of the guide when using the materials for their own students.
